Berlin is strongly connected with the myth of the „golden twenties“. Despite the difficult economical and political situation, the vivid cultural life, the experimental ideas in the art and the living left-wing movement surely had a kind of attraction to the Hungarian intellectual emigrants, who fled after the collapse of the communist Revolution 1919.
